The brief asked for images and design which make you feel like you were standing in the location. Blakeney Quay, 8pm, mid summer, crabbing. Visit this beautiful place if you get a chance.

'Give me a cover that makes you want to look inside...'
A three stage process was used starting with shooting the background in an old manufacturing facility. The kid was photographed next then everything was added together in Photoshop.

De Montfort University asked for a series of images which could illustrate the rich history of the campus buildings and the newly built architecture. Using archival images and my own location photography I created a series of images which did just that.

The Environment Policy brochure called for something a little different so I drew the image with pen & ink and charcoal before adding the graphics and logo at a later stage.

'We a family' called for something a bit different so I screen printed a vintage black and white image with added colour to give a mysterious feeling.

Using the song title 'Stretch your eyes' as my inspiration I used an old photographic glass slide negative and some Photoshop magic to bring the characters to life.

The song starts with a building echo and I wanted to emphasis this in the design by using a vintage cathedral image.

SWSP Skateboarding asked for a series of decks and designs to establish their brand. The images were all hand drawn in charcoal, 4ft x 4ft, before being scanned and manipulated to fit the deck shapes. I couldn't resist making my own too!

Enamel Inc. wanted a brand identity which echoed their vibrant visual experiences and sounds. Using photography and digital combinations I created an eye catching series of promotional material.

Hand drawn logo's were used for the screen printed t'shirts.

Each image is drawn on a large scale before being reduced for printing.

'Autumn fashion for kids' was the brief and it gave me an opportunity to shoot the images in a lovely little village before adding the text and logo back at the studio.

'Show me some bored kids' was part of the brief so... the shoot was a blast!

'spooky as hell!' was the theme of the book so I drew a character using charcoal with an abstract background to achieve the desired effect.

I shot the cover for this book in an underground bunker, and yes it was really spooky, especially with the lights flickering on and off all the time.
